Road Trip!

We just got back from an excellent road trip over to the Kootenai River in Libby, Montana. It was a big family reunion and we all got to stay in log cabins. My Tia Jodi stayed in the cabin with my mommies and I. There was a beach right outside my cabin and so it was perfect for my construction projects and stick gathering work. I even got to pee in a drain at the bottom of the Libby Dam. No bathrooms around so we improvised. Pretty cool. There were plenty of bugs to chase after and big grass fields to run around in. One of the best parts was that I got to play in the dirt with my Grandpa. He and Grandma Lin organized the trip.

Happy 4th of July

I have had an excellent holiday weekend. We packed up and took a trip to Whidbey Island for 3 nights. I slept in my "tent" and sleeping bag. There were a ton of things to see and do and lots of rocks to throw in the water. Since I am such an early riser, we walked into town and got coffee and croissants. Those are my fave! Yesterday we went to the Farmers Market in Coupeville and today we went to a Farmers Market in Greenbank. It wasn't as good but there was a bunch of grass for me to roll around in and lots of stuff to touch that I wasn't supposed to touch. Tomorrow, we pack up and head back home. I miss the dogs.

Singin' in the Rain

I love my pirate umbrella. Now, I am actually big enough to hold it myself.
So many things going on. I still love my bilingual school. They have some really great toys to play with and we are learning about caterpillars. Pretty soon they will turn into butterflies. Last week, they brought reptiles from The Woodland Park Zoo.  Too bad I slept through it. Maybe next time.
My vocabluary has greatly improved and I now speak in full sentences. Sometimes it is hard to get all the words out but I am most interested in talking about roadwork and construction equipment.

My Friend Latrell

This is one of my Aunt's chickens. Her name is Latrell. She has 4 other chickens too. Yesterday, mommy and I went over there so that I could run around the yard and chase the girls. I even got to carry the fresh eggs from the coop into the house. Only broke one. After chasing the chickens around, I helped water the trees and plants. can't wait to go back over there.

Ahhhh, Springtime

Spring has Sprung and my picnic table and I are best friends. Mommy lets me eat my lunch and stuff out on the deck when it is nice out. Rules are that I have to wear my hat. Sometimes, I even clean up and put my food into the yard waste bin.

Since I am almost fully potty trained, I thought maybe I would keep my motorcycles dry by putting them on my head. My mommies keep telling me to keep my motorcycles dry. Check. Done.

Here are the latest stats from my 2yr old Well Baby Checkup:

I have grown 4.0 inches in 6mos. I am now 37.5" tall-98th percentile
I weigh 30.2 lbs. I have gained 2 lbs.

basically, I am a tall lean dude. I also got matching blue bandaids because I got 2 shots. OUCH.
